Kaylee Hoyt
Kaylee Hoyt, daughter of Shelia Danek of Thrall, Texas and granddaughter of Don and Cindy Hoyt of Jarrell, Texas, was crowned the 2024-2025 Taylor Rodeo Queen at the annual rodeo in July. Kaylee is a Senior this year at Thrall High School where she is the President of the Thrall National Honor Society, President of the Hutto 4-H Club, and second year President Elect of the Thrall FFA.
Kaylee is very active in 4-H and FFA, showing market and breeding lambs, goats, pigs, and rabbits. She is also a member of the 2X State qualifying Wool Judging Team. Kaylee has over 200 community service hours through various organizations she volunteers with, including collecting and delivering food to a local food bank, hosting activities with a local nursing home, honoring U.S. Military Veterans by placing flags on their graves, and teaching at Vacation Bible School with a local church.
Through her time spent with 4-H, FFA and volunteer organizations, Kaylee has learned the importance of health, wellness, and nutrition. After high school, she plans on attending Texas A&M University to pursue a Nursing Degree with a Minor in Agricultural Business. She hopes to give back to communities by dedicating her career as a travelling nurse.
